Responsibilities:
- Serve as the classroom teacher in one of our partner communities
- Mentor local students in their online courses across all subject areas
- Instruct online course
- Work with another KiHS teacher and work one of the 2 teaching shifts during the week
- Willing to relocate to other First Nation KiHS sites as needed
- Support other KiHS programming including Adult Education and PLAR
Qualifications:
- Must be a member of, or eligible for membership in, the Ontario College of Teachers
- Qualified for intermediate and/or senior divisions
- Possess diverse technological skills and a general aptitude with educational software
- Expertise in one or more of the following teachable areas: English, Social Sciences and Humanities, Canadian and World Studies
Salary Range: $53,610 – $120,369 (based QECO rating and qualified teaching experience)
