There is an opening for a Speech Language Pathologist to support students requiring speech and language assessments and intervention in the KO Communities. The successful candidate will be required to complete assessments, develop intervention plans and complete reporting for students with communication disorders. Travel to the community schools to provide 1:1 intervention to students is essential to this role. 

Salary Range: $88,684 – $107,797

Starting Date: ASAP

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registered and a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Experience in working with school age children
  • Experience with providing group and individual interventions to children and youth
  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Possess ability to function successfully as part of a team
  • Able to travel to remote First Nations in small planes
  • Current valid Criminal Record Check
